My name is Courtney Unique Smart the founder of Words of Persona. Born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana. I received my bachelor degree in Toxicology and my doctoral degree in Pharmacy from the ULM College of Pharmacy. My family and faith in God are very important to me. As I grow in my professional career I hope to grow in my purpose as well.

- the aspect of someone's character that is presented to or perceived by others
My life motto is to fulfill the purpose in your name. What have you been called to do ? What is the impact you will leave on this earth ? Are your living life in purpose ? What is your PERSONA ? We are individuals with our own unique biological makeup and physical features. Our PERSONA should not be determined by how other perceived us, but most importantly how we view ourselves.
Reading and writing are two of my favorite hobbies. I have been an avid reader since I was little and continue to journal and write on a daily basis. As I get older I am understanding to utilize the gift of reading. Words do more than enhance your vocabulary or form the pages of your favorite book. Think what would happen if we began to speak words of manifestation over our life, but most importantly through others as well. I wanted to create this space to connect with others through books and words in order to enhance perspectives and be apart of something bigger than myself.
I had a vision to do a book-drive to raise books for children and young adults in my local community. Over the span of a month I raised over 300 books ! From book donations to monetary donations, I more than doubled my goal of 100 books. I was able to go to more than eight elementary schools to provide books to students. I hope to continue to raise books for the youth and show them what they have the ability to become. Never did I think I would start a blog or create a website but here we are and welcome to WORDS OF PERSONA.
